Source Source Justification This is a special notice for commercial items in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the intent to award on a sole source basis; proposals are not being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Department of Commerce/National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration/National Environmental Satellite Data and Information Service (DOC/NOAA/NESDIS), intends to award a sole source intends to award, on a sole source basis, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) The Government intends to enter into a sole source requirement with the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Inc. 12700 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 200 Reston VA, 20191. Under this notice, this award will be issued other than small business under NAICS Code 561920. Description of requirements is as follows: NESDIS will participate in the IAC 2019 Conference being held in Washington, DC, from October 21 - 25, 2019. This conference provides NESDIS the opportunity to meet with commercial space entities, policymakers, and leading universities and research centers both domestic and internationally to showcase the important work our agency is doing and to foster critical business connections with the larger environmental satellite community. This requirement is for the reservation/rental of 20x20 exhibit space at this conference.
