Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Project No. 550-14-102B Upgrade Electrical Deficiencies Bldg-98 at VA Illiana Healthcare System, Danville, IL. This construction project is set-aside for Service-Disabled-Veteran-Owned-Small-Business (SDVOSBs). The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and all other resources necessary to construct per plans and specifications Project 550-14-102B Upgrade Electrical Deficiencies Bldg-98. The scope of this project will correct existing electrical code deficiencies in Building 98. This is Phase 2 to the project. All services related to the Statement of Work (SOW) shall meet local, state, federal, VA, ADA, NFPA, life safety codes and directives. Work is to be completed within 240 calendar days of receipt of a Notice to Proceed. In accordance with Public Law 109-461, the Veterans Benefits, Healthcare and Information Technology Act of 2006, Pursuant to 38 USC 8127(d), competition is restricted to SDVOSB construction firms. The solicitation will be issued on/about November 21, 2018 with the bid opening on/about December 21, 2018. The bidder is responsible to monitor and download any amendments from FedBizOps which may be issued to this solicitation. There will be pre-construction conference held for this project and all prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. Details of the pre-construction conference will be included in the solicitation package. The project magnitude range is between $2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 238210 (Electrical Contractors and other Wiring Installation Contractors); size standard $15 million applies. In accordance with VAAR 819.7003 (b), SDVOSB firms must be verified in the VIP database (www.vip.vetbiz.gov) or hold a Re-verification symbol listed next to the firm s name (this symbol indicates that the firm is undergoing the re-verification process at CVE), prior to award of contract.
