Description

The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this notice is 517911 “ Telecommunications Resellers. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office announces this sources sought notice/request for information to identify potential vendors capable of fulfilling the following requirement on behalf of the U.S. Naval Academy (USNA): USNA requires the expansion of its existing wireless service and procurement of a Network Access Control / 802.lx (NAC) compliant appliance which is an integral component of the existing wireless service at USNA. The NAC appliance will authenticate devices and provide the USNA Cyber Security team control and visibility into which devices are connecting to the USNA Enterprise Enclave and which devices are allowed on. The solution will leverage the existing wireless and RADIUS server infrastructure to provide certificate based authenticated access to authorized domain users and devices. The solution will provide WIDS/WIPS capabilities for operations and maintenance personnel to proactively monitor and secure the wireless coverage area. In addition, the solution will allow enterprise enclave wireless assets to securely access network resources to accomplish work tasks. USNA requires wireless access points and Clearpass 802.lx Network Access Control appliances specifically designed to seamlessly integrate with the heterogeneous USNA Enterprise Enclave populated with USNA ™s existing Aruba wireless controllers, access points, Aruba switches, Cisco Catalyst switches, Routers, and Firewalls. The Government requires Aruba or comparable non-Aruba products equal to or greater than the supplied item list, provided herein as an attachment to this synopsis. Vendors possessing the capabilities necessary to supply comparable products equal to or greater than the supplied item list are invited to respond to this sources sought notice/request for information. ALL RESPONSIBLE VENDORS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PROVIDE A RESPONSE. The goal of such feedback is to consider suggestions that might enhance competition, improve the clarity of the requirement, leverage industry expertise or any other ideas that could result in an improved product. Submissions should include the following information and reference N0018919QZ029: 1. Vendor name, address, and point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address 2. DUNS number, Cage Code, business size and classification 3. Capability statement displaying the vendor ™s ability to provide the required supplies. NOTE: Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the contents of this announcement will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party.
