- Description
- N0016419JF014 - Sole Source repairs for PMA-290 Maritime Patrol Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) - FSC 5841 - NAICS 334511 Anticipated Issue Date: 6 November 2018 - Anticipated Closing Date: 14 December 2018 - 4:30 PM EST SOLE SOURCE PROCUREMENT - Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has a requirement for firm-fixed-price repairs over four years, of the Red Falcon Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRA) Chassis, Ground Processor, Rattler Simulator, and Processor in support of the Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft (MPRA) PMA-290. This requirement will be met through a Job Order placed against the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00164-17-G-JV08.Deliver is required FOB Destination. The proposed contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with one source, Six3 Advanced Systems, INC/BIT., 45200 Business Ct Ste. 1000 Dulles, VA 20166-6715, under authority of FAR 6.302-1 (statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1)), only one responsible source. The basis for restricting competition is the lack of sufficient technical data, software documentation, test fixtures/stations, and duplicative cost to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and the unacceptable delays in fulfilling the agency requirement through any other source. All responsible sources may inquire into the specific terms and conditions included in the BOA; such inquiries will be considered by this agency. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Six3 Advanced Systems, Inc. directly. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. The point of contact at NSWC Crane is Mr. Mason Phillips, Code 0233, at telephone (812) 854-1622 or e-mail: mason.phillips1@navy.mil.
