- Description
- A sources sought synopsis was previously posted under FA8224-18-R-F35Chillers. Hill Air Force Base (HAFB) has twenty-five (25) F-35 aircraft Operator Control Consoles (OCCs) located in Buildings 225 and Building 233. The OCCs have controlled air-conditioning and hydraulic plumbing that pass through them. Each OCC air-conditioning outlet can connect to a Portable Inline Chiller Unit (PICU) that is used to reduce OCC air conditioned temperature of 100°F to a lower operating temperature of 50°F at point of use. (Aircraft undergoing avionics testing). Hydraulic hoses are used for aircraft hydraulic system tests and come from the OCC and stored on metal frame stands. All hoses are wound and un-wound by hand when needed. A requirement is needed to reconfigure existing 10 PICUs to permanently Mounted Inline Chillers (MICs) close to the OCC and to build 15 MICs from scratch near each of the OCCs. In the same area of the MIC and OCC the hydraulic hoses racks need to be converted into Auto Wind Hose Reels (AWHR). Contract will be a base year and 4 one-year options utilizing Firm Fixed Price and Cost plus Fixed Fee CLIN's. Delivery, inspection and acceptance will be at Hill AFB, UT. Proposed Contract Line Item Numbering is as follows: 0001: Design and Prototype of Mounted In-Line Chiller (MIC) - 1 EA - FFP 0002: Design and Prototype of Modification of Portable In-Line Chiller Unit (PICU) to a MIC - 1 EA - FFP 0003: Design and Prototype of Automatic Winding Hose Reel (AWHR) - 1 EA - FFP 0004: Design and Install of Chillers - 8 EA - CPFF 0005: MIC (new units) - 3 EA - FFP 0006: MIC (modification of PICU) - 3 EA - FFP 0007: AWHR - 7 EA - FFP 0008: Data - NSP 1001: Design and Install of Chillers - 6 EA - CPFF 1002: MIC (new units) - 3 EA - FFP 1003: MIC (modification of PICU) - 3 EA - FFP 1004:AWHR - 6 EA - FFP 1005:: Data - NSP 2001: Design and Install of Chillers - 6 EA - CPFF 2002: MIC (new units) - 3 EA - FFP 2003: MIC (modification of PICU) - 3 EA - FFP 2004:AWHR - 6 EA - FFP 2005:: Data - NSP 3001: Design and Install of Chillers - 3 EA - CPFF 3002: MIC (new units) - 3 EA - FFP 3003: AWHR - 3 EA - FFP 3004:: Data - NSP 4001: Design and Install of Chillers - 2EA - CPFF 4002: MIC (new units) - 2 EA - FFP 4003:AWHR - 2 EA - FFP 4004:: Data - NSP
