Description
This synopsis provides notice of the Government's intent to issue a solicitation for Retrofit of the Coast Guard Station in Puerto Caldera. The sources sought notice was 19AQMM19N0001. Place of performance: Coast Guard Station in Puerto Caldera, Caldera district, Esparza canton, Puntarenas province, Costa Rica. Period of Performance: TBD Order of Magnitude: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Competition Procedures: Full and Open (unrestricted). Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price The approximate acquisition schedule is as follows: The synopsis will be posted for at least fifteen (15) days. On or about November 26, 2018, the Government plans to post the solicitation on www.fbo.gov. No paper copies will be mailed. Once posted, offerors will have approximately thirty (30) days to submit proposals. All dates are subject to change. The Question and Answer (Q&A) period opens with the posting of the solicitation and ends on the date specified in Section L of the solicitation. All announcements and amendments made to the solicitation will be posted to www.fbo.gov. Only emails following the Q&A instructions in Section L of the solicitation will be accepted. No other emails or phone calls will be accepted. Offerors shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses to perform the required work in Costa Rica. Offerors shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
