Description
CJ&A6.302-1_18_0325 CJ&A6.302-1_18_0083 The Boeing Company was awarded a not to exceed, firm-fixed price contract to procure long lead material for the Harpoon Weapon Systems full-rate production Lot 91 in support of multiple Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers. The Lot 91 production effort includes missiles of various configurations and retrofits in tactical, exercise, training configurations (including other support equipment), and spares for various FMS countries. This contract was pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements. The Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon Weapon System and its related equipment. The Boeing Company alone has the experience, special skills, proprietary technical documentation, software/algorithms, facilities and repair techniques required to disassemble, repair, reassemble, and test this equipment and furnish the supplies and services within the required timeframe. Accordingly, The Boeing Company is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.
