- The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island is issuing this pre-solicitation notice for a Mechanical Services/HVAC Contract to operate and maintain the heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems including chillers, steam boilers and hot water boilers on the Rock Island Arsenal (RIA), Rock Island IL. U.S. Army Garrison - Rock Island Arsenal has a requirement to operate, maintain and repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning, steam boilers and steam distribution (140# psig and below) including condensate return, hot water boilers and hot water distribution and chillers, associated chiller equipment and chilled wafer distribution systems to approximately 100 buildings on the RIA. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-NOV-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
