Description

This is a market survey to locate sources of supply firmware (manufacturer or distributors) for the National Stock Number (NSN) 5820-016616382, PN 282650-4 (CAGE Code 94987), firmware version 27, Receiver Transmitter. This item used in the AN/ARS-6 Personnel Locator system. It is part of the Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) system. There are no form, fit, and function alternatives able to be used. The CAGE 94987 is Cubic Defense Applications. The Receiver-Transmitters are classified and required a DD 254, Contract Security Classification Specification, with facility clearance of Secret. This intend to be an add-on to existing contract SPRBL1-16-D-0001, awarded to Cubic Defense Applications, with expiration date 23 Dec 2020. Technical Data Package (TDP) for manufacture and acceptance of this item is not available from the Government. Interested sources that are capable of furnishing this item must send a response outlining a viable approach and describing their ability of meeting the Government requirements. Respondents to this notice must provide enough information to demonstrate their capabilities provide this item. Responses shall be submitting in writing through email to U.S. ARMY CECOM, ATTN: RDER-PRC-TR, Tung Chan at Tung.C.Chan.civ@mail.mil, and to the Land and Maritime local DLA Competition Advocate at dla.apgmr@dla.mil.
