- The purpose of this modification is The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division at China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competitive basis this requirement Quantity 2 ea.; ViaSat manufactured MIDS JTRS terminal shall be mounted in a rack interface to connect with laboratory equipment that is already in use in accordance with FAR Part 12 and 13. Manufacturer sole source to ViaSat, Inc. to large and small businesses that can request a Manufacturer's Certificate of Conformance, as well as a drop-shipment from ViaSat directly to the end-user. This ensures the product is shipped directly from Viasat (as the OEM), to the US NAVY. Complete details can be found in the Solicitation. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. Effective June 11, 2018, entities who create or update their registration in SAM.gov to apply only for federal assistance opportunities such as grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs, have a notarized letter on file within 30 days of registration.
