- Description
- The work to be performed provides for wet utilities construction projects within the North American Industry Classification System Code 237110. The work to be acquired under this contract is for new construction, renovation, alteration, and repairs within the NAICS code listed, primarily by design-build or secondarily by design-bid-build of wet utilities construction projects, and related structures, at various locations predominantly within the NAVFAC Southwest area of responsibility (AOR) including, but not limited to, various locations within Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, and Utah, but will be available to the NAVFAC Atlantic AOR as approved by the Contracting Officer. It is anticipated that the majority of the work will be performed in San Diego County, California. Types of projects may include, but are not limited to: water, steam, sewer, and storm sewer lines; wells, mains, pumping stations, treatment plants, storage tanks and facilities and related work. All structures (including buildings) that are integral parts of water, steam, and sewer networks (e.g., storage tanks, pumping stations, water treatment plants, and sewage treatment plants) are included. This contract will not include waterfront related construction or oil and gas pipeline construction.
