Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center (VAMC), 100 Emancipation DR, Hampton, VA 23667 is seeking a qualified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small business (SDVOSB) A/E firm to provide Schematics, Design Development, Construction Documents, Technical Specifications, Construction Period Services, Site Visits, Cost Estimates, As-Built Documentation, and all other related information for project no. 590-18-120, Renovate Interior finishes of Halls & Walls at VAMC Hampton, Virginia. This procurement is restricted to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms. This requirement is being procured in accordance with the Brooks Act as implemented in FAR Subpart 36.6. Applicable NAICS code is 541310 (Architectural Services) and small business size standard of $7.5 Million. This is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Set Aside. Potential contractors must be registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) and visible/certified in Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) at time of submission of their qualifications to be considered for an award. The objective of this project is to Provide professional engineering services for the design and construction administration for a database that can be searched by year to determine the required replacement and upgrade schedules for each individual finish. The database shall also include a cost estimate for upgrade of each individual finish in each identified space. Design standards will be developed in conjunction with the Interior Design staff at the VAMC for use in this project as well as future improvement initiatives. Building included in this effort are: 110, 100A, 100B, 135, 146, 137, 148, 148T, 114.
