Description

Repair capability is required to support the Minuteman III (MM III) missile system. Ballistic Gas Generators (BGGs) are fired simultaneously to pressurize a piston/actuator that pulls a pair of cables that open the cover on a Minuteman silo. Qualified vendors are being sought for the repair of current configuration and older configuration BGGs. Repair services will be managed from the ICBM Systems Directorate (AFNWC/NI) located at Hill AFB, UT. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (16-NOV-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
