- In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) this Notice of Intent is to inform all parties the Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 19 located at 6162 South Willow Drive Suite 300, Greenwood Village, CO 80111 intends to award a sole source procurement for the following requirement to the large business manufacturer, General Electric Company (GE), located at 3000 N Grandview Blvd W-443, Waukesha, Wisconsin 53118. The requirement is for preventive maintenance, including inspections, servicing of emerging breakdowns, and repairs of medical radiographic imaging systems currently installed in the George E. Whalen VA Medical Center, Radiology Department, Building 1 & 14, 500 Foothill Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84148 for the period of December 1st, 2018 through November 30th, 2019. The preventative maintenance covers 30 different GE systems and modalities. The major systems are: a) GE Medical MRI 1.5T Scanner including Magnet support, Chiller Cryogen support, UPS and hardware and software support on the workstations, b) GE CT Scanner 64 slice and support hardware and software workstations, c) GE Infinia Hawkeye Nuclear Cameras, support hardware and software workstations, d) GE Xeleris workstations hardware and software, e) GE PET Discovery VCT, f) GE XR Innova 4100 radiographic rooms, g) GE LogicQ e and GE Vivid I Ultrasound machines, and h) GE OEC 9800 and 9900 series mobile X-ray machine. GE maintains proprietary software and technologies relating to the installed equipment. Access to GE technical and clinical applications support is required, enabling continuous scanning capability while troubleshooting and to stay on schedule with services for Veterans. All maintenance and services must be warranted from GE by using GE sourced parts, materials, service representatives, and maintaining the ability to receive GE sourced maintenance of the equipment in the future. The associated North America Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the Small Business Size Standard is $20.5M. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement no later than 4:00 PM Eastern Standard Time, Friday, November 23rd, 2018. Information received in response to this notice must clearly demonstrate the capability of meeting the Government s need as stated above. Include any relevant information (specifications, cut sheets, brochures, capability statement, etc.) confirming the ability to supply the products and/or any services outlined in this notice. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government.
