Description

This notice is being posted to provide information regarding the acquisition strategy and anticipated timeline for the recompete of the Department of State, Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Security Technology's requirement for administrative and IT services. The Contracting Officer has determined that it is in the best interest of the Government to split the requirement into two separate awards, thus allowing the Government to solicit vendors that demonstrate strengths in one of the two respective fields of specialty services required, i.e., IT services or administrative services. Administrative services: The administrative services will be competed as an 8(a) set aside on GSA's Federal Supply Schedule 00CORP, Professional Services Schedule (PSS) formerly Consolidated. The applicable NAICS code is 561110, Office Administrative Services. The anticipated acquisition schedule for the administrative services requirement is: RFP Release: mid-late November, 2018 Proposals Due: early-mid December, 2018 Technical Evaluation Complete: mid-late December, 2018 Award: early January, 2019 IT services: The IT services will be competed as an 8(a) set aside on GSA's Federal Supply Schedule 70, Information Technology Equipment, Software & Services (IT). The applicable NAICS code is 541519, Other Computer Related Services.
