Description
Statement of Work This is for the purchase of thirty-six (36) Commercial Item, Modified, Reclining Chairs for medical use. These chairs will serve a multi-purpose dialysis clinic. Chairs are designed for long term seating comfort during dialysis treatment or any other extended chair treatment The salient characteristics and features shown below in Italics are the Modifications required against commercially available recliners suitable for dialysis patients: Units must be constructed of a welded steel frame. Durable stain resistant heavy gauge vinyl upholstery. Contains an IV attachment and drainage bag hook. Built-in Trendelenburg Positioning. Variable recline positions, including upright, recline, and full recline Standard height from floor to seat must 19-21 inches Seat width must be 24-26 inches Overall chair width not to exceed 38" Overall chair length not to exceed 70" Battery Backup and Manual Override Options in case of power failure / unavailability. Fully adjustable, padded arm rests to allow patients easy access, proper arm positioning for phlebotomy procedure and easy exit for patient Weight capacity no less than 300 pounds; room size constraints do not allow for bariatric use chairs, therefore weight capacity should not exceed 500 pounds. CAL133 grade upholstery 4 caster wheels (minimum) with lockable capability Footrest Minimum 2-year warranty all parts, labor and material Offeror shall provide the following items for the James J. Peters; Bronx VAMC All items shall be delivered and installed FOB Destination within 30 calendar days after receipt of Notice of Award and/or Purchase Order NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (18-OCT-2018).
