Description
I. SUMMARY On behalf of the Support Ships, Boats, and Craft Program Office (PMS325), the Naval Sea Systems Command announces two (2) upcoming presentations: PMS325 Overview and NAVSEA Contracting & Solicitations Overview. These presentations will be held on November 28, 2018, during the International WorkBoat Show (IWBS) in New Orleans, Louisiana. The PMS325 Presentation will be held from 1030-1200 in the Rivergate Room, and the NAVSEA Contracting & Solicitations Overview will be held from 1330-1500 in the Rivergate Room. IWBS participation is not required for attendance, and admission is free of charge. The objective of the PMS325 Overview is to inform the industry community of PMS325 programs and upcoming schedules. The primary objective of the NAVSEA Contracting & Solicitations Overview is to receive feedback from industry regarding RFP requirements and inform industry of lessons-learned from the NAVSEA Contracting Office. Both forums will allow a significant time for questions. II. DATE, LOCATION, AGENDA, REGISTRATION, LOGISTICS WHEN: November 28, 2018, 1030-1200 and 1330-1500 WHERE: These event will be in the Rivergate Room at the Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, LA WHAT: The overall objective is to provide industry and interested parties with information that will assist in the understanding of contract requirements, provide a projected near term schedule for potential PMS325 solicitations, and to gain feedback from industry on the program and overall contract requirements. WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Shipyard and Boatyard representatives and other potential industry sources capable and interested in working with PMS325. HOW: All parties interested in attending one or both of these presentations should pre-register with Samantha Cornwell at samantha.cornwell@caci.com and include the information listed below: -Company Name -Point of Contact -POC Email -Number of Attendees III. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION This announcement is not a contract, a request for proposal, a promise to contract, or a commitment of any kind on the part of the Government. The Navy will not assume liability for costs incurred by an attendee for travel expenses or marketing efforts; therefore, attendee cost in response to this notice is not considered an allowable direct charge to the Government.
