- This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought publication only. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. Please do not submit a proposal in response to this RFI. This notice is to assist the VA in the determination of sources only. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective offerors list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Central Iowa Health Care System (VACIHCS), is currently seeking information from any Vendor that can provide off-site X-Ray Services (technical component only) for the Carroll Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) located at 311 S Clark St, Suite 275, Carroll, IA 51401. These services are solely dedicated to Veteran patients of the VACIHCS. VACIHCS is looking for responses from contractors regarding their capability to provide off-site x-ray services during normal clinic hours of the Carroll CBOC. Vendor will be required to provide all equipment, facility, professional, and technical personnel services to provide general x-ray exams (technical component only). Vendor must be located within 10 miles of the Carroll CBOC to allow patients to receive radiology services in a timely, safe, and efficient manner without compromising patient care. Responses to this Sources Sought will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions and developing a potential procurement strategy. After review of responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published in the FedBizOpps website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond directly to any corresponding solicitation by submitting a proposal.
