Description

Purpose and Objectives: The intent of this Sources Sought Notice is to identify potential offerors capable of providing subscription to an online database as described in the Statement of Work (SOW). These are for the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. Responses to this Sources Sought Notice should demonstrate the firm's ability, capability, and responsibility to provide the principal components of supplies listed in the attached document. Responses should include the following information: Verify that the business is under 519130 of the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), Verification of Size Standard under the NAICS, Business name, address, Point of Contact, Federal Supply Schedule, and if the business has verification as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business or Veteran Owned Small Business. All information is to be submitted via e-mail at Daniel.Johnson44@va.gov. Information provided will not be returned. All responses shall be in the English Language. Responses are due by 12:00 P.M. (EST) on Thursday, November 29, 2018. No submissions will be accepted after this date and time. Questions can be submitted electronically to Daniel.Johnson44@va.gov. This is a Sources Sought Notice and submissions will be used for informational and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Quote (RFQ), nor is the government obligated to issue an RFQ. In addition, the Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this notice. The Government is not obligated to notify respondents of the results of this survey. Statement of Work (SOW) Coatesville VA Medical Center Introduction: The Coatesville VAHCS utilizes a variety of medical equipment daily throughout the campus. To ensure the safety of these devices the alerts, hazards and recalls publication is needed to help identify any potential issues with medical equipment. Scope: This Contractor is to provide a subscription to an on-line database that provides publications and weekly emails with details of any medical device alerts, hazards, or recalls. The on-line database shall also include technical information on medical devices that can be utilized when researching new equipment purchases. Specific email addresses and subscriber information will be provided to the Point-of-Contact (POC). Please provide a quote for base plus four option years. Performance Monitoring: The POC will ensure that the weekly publications are sent every Friday by the contractor to the e-mail provided in the subscription. The POC will also notify the contractor if access to database has stopped working. Security Requirements: Specialist No special security requirements are anticipated. Subscription to on-line database only. Risk Control: No special risk control actions are anticipated. Subscription to on-line database only. Place of Performance: All work shall be performed at the Coatesville VA Medical Center, 1400 Blackhorse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320. Period of Performance: Base Year: January 1, 2019 December 31, 2019 The Government is looking at an additional four (4), 12-month Option Years that proceeds the Base Year.
