- The intent of this Special Notice is for informational purposes only. The U.S. Department of Army, Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG), Tennant Division intends to issue an award to Agilent Technologies Inc., 2850 Centerville Road Wilmington, DE 19808, which is the only source for these services and supplies herein referred to as Contractor for: 1) Maintenance, repair and supplies for Agilent equipment. The place of performance is at the Edgewood Chemical Biological Center (ECBC), Protection & Decontamination, Aberdeen Proving Ground - Edgewood Area, MD. After market research, it has been determined that there is only one source available for this requirement. The anticipated award date is on or about November 30, 2018. The statutory authority for this sole source procurement is 10 USC 2304(c) (1) and FAR 6.302-1(a) (2) Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy Agency Requirements. This determination was made based on Market Research conducted for this acquisition. The NAICS code for this action is 811219. ACC-APG requires that all contractors doing business with the ACC-APG must be registered within the System for Award Management (SAM). No award can be made unless the vendor is registered in SAM. For additional information and to register, please access the following website: http://www.sam.gov. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes, the Government reserves the right not to compete the proposed purchase order based on responses received to this notice. However, the Government may consider Maintenance and Repair Agilent Equipment - Federal Business Opportunities: all responsible sources received within five days of this posting. This service may be awarded without further notice. It is noted that the intent of market research is to survey the market place to identify supplies and/or services and sources that will meet the agency's future needs. Written responses to this special notice shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona-fide capability to fulfill the requirement. There is no guarantee of award for any contractor engaged by the Government.
