Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), V-22 Osprey Program (PMA 275), Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source Purchase Order to Firetrace Aerospace LLC, 8435 N. 90th St Ste 2, Scottsdale, AZ 85258 for Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) activities relating to changes to Firetrace Aerospace's bottle assembly. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole-source basis under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The current MLGB FSS bottle/valve assembly is a unique design specifically for V-22 aircraft designed by Firetrace Aerospace LLC. Firetrace Aerospace's internal fire bottle upgrade provides the expedient upgrade necessary of the MLGB FSS to the V-22 fleet. Companies interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Firetrace Aerospace LLC directly. This synopsis is not a Request for Quote. The Government does not intend to fund the development or qualification of other sources for fulfilling this requirement. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, which shall be considered by the agency.
