Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. SCOPE OF WORK AND GENERAL SPECIFICATIONS For: Medistim Probes Background: The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC) is currently using the Medistim Probes. These probes are used by the surgeons to provide fast, accurate and reproducible measurements of blood volume flow intraoperatively. This is particularly relevant to verifying graft patency and function in a range of surgical applications. These instruments are required to support the growing daily volume of operative procedures. The Vascular and Cardiovascular Clinics are requesting more systems to support their caseloads because right now surgeries are being delayed and with raising the par level for the Medistim Probes it will ensure better serve for our Veterans. This purchase will enhance our ability to perform surgeries as needed in the Clinics.
