- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15 Contracting Office intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 41 U.S.C 253(c) (1) FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) - Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized, to Translogic Corporation DBA Swisslog Healthcare, 11325 Main Street, Broomfield, CO 80020. Swisslog Healthcare will furnish all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, repair services, and preventive maintenance of the AutoPack and AutoLabel Pharmacy Equipment. The place of performance is for the Department of Veterans Affairs Marion VAMC located at 2401 W Main Street, Marion, IL 62959. The NAICS code for these items is 811219 (Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance). This action will result in a Firm-Fixed Price contract with a base year plus four (4) option years. This notice of intent is not a request for quotations; interested parties may express their interest by providing a capabilities statement NLT December 3, 2018 at 12:00 PM CST. The capabilities statement must provide clear and unambiguous evidence to substantiate the capability of the party to provide the required services. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. When responding to this announcement, respondents should refer to Announcement 36C25519Q0095 Notice of Intent. If after December 3, 2018, if no viable responses have been received in response to this announcement, Department of Veterans Affairs shall negotiate solely with Swisslogic Healthcare. This notice of intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive quotes. There will be no solicitation available for competitive quotes. Phone calls will not be accepted.
