Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 -- Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR -- Part 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation is attached to this announcement. The Government intends to award a single Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) award from this solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Long Beach Healthcare System, has a requirement for quarterly servicing of Air Handling Units throughout the VA Long Beach campus. The contractor shall furnish all tools, labor, materials, and supervision necessary to execute all tasks per the Statement of Work. The services shall also be in accordance with industry standard, local, state, Federal and all other applicable laws / regulations. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220 and the Small Business Administration s (SBA) size standard is $15 million for this procurement. This solicitation is issued pursuant to the Veterans First Public Law 109-461 as a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside. Bidders must be listed in the Vendor Information Pages at www.vetbiz.gov, and currently registered in the System for Award Management, www.sam.gov. Place of Performance: VA Long Beach Healthcare System, 5901 East 7th Street, Long Beach, CA 90822. Period of Performance: Base year and up to four (4) one (1) year option periods. Provisions / Clauses: As specified in the enclosed solicitation Submitting Offer: Offeror(s) are reminded to thoroughly review the solicitation in its entirety and shall submit their offer using the Price Schedule found in section A.3 (page 6) of the SF 1449. Complete box 17a, and sign/print/date in box 30a/b/c/ of page 1. Offeror is advised the Government may be unable to receive other types of electronic files (e.g. compressed or zip files) or files larger than ten (10) megabytes (MB). It is the offeror s responsibility to ensure all required documents are included and completed as required by this solicitation. Offeror(s) shall submit their quotes to Peter Kim via email at peter.kim33@va.gov. Ensure you reference solicitation # 36C26219Q0125 AHU PM in the subject line of the email. Submission Deadline: All offer(s) must be received by January 7, 2019 by 10:00 AM PST (see block 8 of the 1st page of the SF 1449). Offer(s) received after the prescribed deadline, may be considered non-responsive and may not be considered for award.
