- SPECIAL NOTICE: Notice of Intent to Lease Space Using Other Than Full and Open Competition The Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), Veterans Health Administration intends to award a lease using other than full and open competition for the Veterans Affairs Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS) in Fresno, CA at Fresno Housing Authority, Fresno, CA. The VA requires space as described below: Space Type: Surface Parking (Uncovered, Unstructured) Parking Space (Total): 285 (non-reserved) Delineated Area: North: E. Clinton South: E. Weldon Avenue East: N. Angus Street West: N. Fresno Street Full Term: 35 months Firm Term: 35 months Estimated Occupancy: ASAP ADDITIONAL AGENCY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: The offered space: Parking spaces to accommodate standard sized automobiles in accordance with Fresno City parking standards. Standardized parking space dimensions with adequate striping meeting local code requirements. Accessible from 5:00 am to 9:00 pm, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays. Adequate lighting for visibility of all parked vehicles. Paved generally flat surface without damage, loose gravel, potholes cracked asphalt or concrete with adequate drainage. Key or combination shall be provided or other arrangements made for the Government to access the secured premises. Government will be permitted but not required to post one or more security guards during its parking hours of operation. Permanent secure chain link or aluminum fencing with the ability to secure the access point(s) per industry standards. Fence height per industry security fence standards. The space shall be free of hazardous materials and in compliance with applicable Federal, State, and local environmental Laws and Regulations. Industry standard solar lights. LED solar powered lights spaced and located sufficiently to provide sufficient lighting for drivers and pedestrians to safely navigate the parking area. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: All interested parties shall respond to this announcement no later than December 14, 2018- 4PM PDT and shall include the following (at minimum) in their email or correspondence: Site name, address and date of availability, Rental rate, specifying services and operating costs included, Total parking spaces, existing or proposed, Written acknowledgement and permission to represent the property (for Brokers or legal representatives).
