- The Federal Bureau of Prisons Field Acquisition Office in Grand Prairie, Texas, intends to make a single award for the supply and install of new boiler controls at the USP Leavenworth, Leavenworth, KS. It is anticipated that this RFQ will result in the award of a Purchase Order. Award will be made to the responsible quoter who submits the most advantageous offer to the Government. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about December 13, 2018 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about January 10, 2018. The solicitation will be set aside for small business. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 238220 with a size standard of $15 Million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. Faith-Based and Community Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
