- SOURCES SOUGHT Cardiac Monitoring Service Purpose. This is a Sources Sought request by the Department of Veterans Affairs, NCO 23, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The services being sought are for the Iowa City Veterans Affairs Health Care System (ICVAHCS). This request is for qualified vendors to submit Capability Statements, regarding their qualifications and capabilities for a potential procurement involving ambulatory remote and continuous (24/7) monitoring of ambulatory telemetry devices for Veterans experiencing marked symptoms as well as atrial fibrillation reporting. The Vendor would supply monitoring devices to be worn by eligible Veterans for a period to include one (1) to thirty (30) days. Said monitoring devices would combine wireless event/outpatient real-time telemetry and be capable of providing real-time data as well as the capability to store data in the device for future upload. This Sources Sought notice is issued for purposes of market research only to identify potential vendors, collect capability statements, and other helpful information for potential procurement. Vendors would be required to service and monitor Veterans in multiple states throughout the country. These services would include, but not be limited to the following: Furnish, maintain, and update personal cardiac monitors with wireless event/outpatient real-time telemetry technology, and provide all necessary operation manuals as well as hands-on training to (ICVAHCS) staff and Veterans using the device, and all other technical functions further outlined in the performance work statement. The device shall be capable of producing timely and accurate reports; Any and all critical cardiac events shall trigger immediate alerts which should then be transferred to a cardiac monitoring center; Data must be capable of being transmitted via wireless technology, over the entire monitoring period of (one {1} to thirty {30} days); Customer call support line and cardiac monitoring center. Required submittals from Vendors. Responses via email are due at 4:30 p.m., CST on January 3, 2019 to Mr. Joshua Howe, Contract Specialist, at joshua.howe@va.gov and must include the information requested below: Capability Statement; List your socioeconomic status (e.g., woman-owned small business, SDVOSB, HUBZone, etc.); Whether your organization is registered under NAICS 621999; and Respond as to whether you can perform the requirements in the attached DRAFT Performance Work Statement (PWS). Pursuant to FAR 52.215-3(a)-(c), Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes, the Government does not intend to award a contract, on the basis of this Sources Sought/RFI, or to otherwise pay for any information supplied by the vendor. Your response will be treated as information only; it will not be used as a proposal.
