- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-101, effective October 26, 2018. The solicitation number is 68HERD19Q0018 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ), This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement to acquire Two Environmental Chambers and related equipment on a brand name or equal basis. The EPA hereby issues this RFQ to procure the supplies identified in the attached Request for Quote. This solicitation will be accomplished under the authority of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement is reserved for Small Businesses as a Set Aside. This procurement is a total small business set-aside and is assigned to primary North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables with a size standard not exceeding 750 employees.
