- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), is conducting market research to gain a greater understanding of the full range of available options for the ballistic plate carrier system industry's ability to provide CBP with suitable duty holsters which meet the agency's preliminarily identified requirements. This is a Request for Information (RFI) released pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 - Market Research. This RFI's purpose is to obtain market information on viable sources of supply, industry practices, answers to specific questions, and industry comments relating to the attached full RFI.
