This will be set-aside for SDVOSB s. To be considered eligible for award all SDVOSB s must be registered/verified through Vetbiz.gov. If you wish to be included in this solicitation, please respond electronically to gregory.watson2@va.gov by 3 PM EST Friday December 21st 2018. This solicitation will be performed 4 PM Friday December 21st 2018. Ultrasound system must be integrated with Sherlock 3CG allowing to visualize placement of PICC from begging to end. 2. Able to visualize and measure catheter size relative to the vessel size, to help eliminate blood clots in upper arm veins. 3. Able to visualize the needle trajectory, having sensors within the Pinpoint GT Linear Ultrasound Probe detect the location and position of the needles magnetic field. 4. Software on the ultrasound system interprets the data to create a virtual needle image on the ultrasound display 5. Vascular exams for assessment in the upper extremities and neck vessels Jugular, carotid. Superficial veins in the arms and legs, Basilic, cephalic, Brachia!, Femoral, radial, saphenous and vessel mapping. 6. Guidance for PICC, eve, PIV, midline, arterial line placement and general vein and artery access. 7. Having controls located on the probe for easy access under sterile conditions. 8. Having catheter icons displayed in proportion to the vessel image at a selected depth. The icons assist clinicians in determining the appropriate catheter size for the vessel being imaged 9. Having Depth, Gain, Freeze, Sherlock 3CG TCS mode, and Pinpoint GT needle Technology Mode 10. Depth Markers displays centered depth markers in 0.5 increments 11. Able to save to system hard drive and/or print ultrasound images 12. Ultrasound to be WiFi enabled, DICON settings and have Bluetooth Wireless Technology Settings and must be FIPS 140-2 Compliant. (Site-Rite 8 ultrasound system only ultrasound that is FIPS 140- 2 compliant) 13. Able to input Patient Information 14. Able to have Clinician presets, for Ultrasound image depth, gain and input for patient information 15. Able to view and manage saved images Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the equipment/system shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. This procurement is for new Equipment ONLY; no remanufactured or "gray market" items. All Equipment must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. (a) Gray market items are Original Equipment Manufacturer s (OEM) goods sold through unauthorized channels in direct competition with authorized distributors. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufactures or gray market items will be acceptable. (b) Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. (c) The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the VA reserves the right enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items. *This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201 to synopsize proposed contract actions.* NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (19-DEC-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
