Kingsbridge Road Rm. 9b16 Bronx NY 10468 Synopsis: Please note that this is not a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Hudson Valley VA Medical Center, is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing the following services for Hudson Valley VAMC. ARMED COURIER SERVICES. Scope of Work: The contractor is needed to provide armored car service with armed guards to the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center to both the Agent Cashier office and Canteen Service for the safeguard and transporting of delivery of currency/depository currency to the VAHV HCS, Castle Point Campus. Background: Prior year contract was with Johnson Security Bureau. The end user failed to exercise the option year timely and a new contract is required. Contractor will arrive at the VAHV HCS, both to Agent Cashier and Canteen Service, Castle Point campus on or before 9:30am on Tuesday and Thursdays to pick up currency to deliver to M&T Bank in Beacon, NY. Then contractor will return to VAHV HCS to deliver currency when delivery is required. Castle Point Campus, VAHV HCS 41 Castle Point Road Castle Point, NY 12590 Scope or Tasks (for services)/Product Specifications(for supplies) To meet needs of the Agency, the following minimum specifications must be met. Pickup bank currency ordered by the cashier/delivery of currency to both the Agent cashier and Canteen Service to and from the Castle Point campus to the same local depository (M&T Bank, 200 Main Street, Beacon, NY). Service must be provided on or before 9:30am on Tuesday and Thursdays. Deliver/deposit of currency order to local depository. Provide change order delivery back to original pick up location. Must have armored guards and armored vehicles with a protection level up to 2UL and capable of withstanding up to a.357 magnum round. The guard team must record each transaction and have a report available for the VAHV HCS representative. The contractor vehicles should utilize a GPS System for tracking of the vehicle. Contractor should retain all necessary licenses, certifications and permits required by federal, state and local. Contractor must maintain sufficient insurance coverage. Additional runs to be added if required. Security The armored guard(s) is required to arrive at the police service, present ID, be escorted by police to the agent cashier/canteen service and upon completion of service, be escorted back The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 561613. Responses to this notice must be submitting in writing via email and must be received no later than December 31, 2018. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement relative to NAICS 561613. Qualified offerors shall be experienced in addition to providers (sellers) capable of supporting this facility. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should include company/individual name, a service capability statement, and examples of similar facilities which you have provided services to DUNS number, address, and point of contact.
