Description

Anodizing Metal Finishing Provide anodize finish on listed components as required by the Government. Anodize finish to be per the specification on each drawing. Typical; MIL-A-8625, Type II, Class 2, Color Black, use Clariant Corporation SANODAL Black HBL Dye with Colorfast Additive ANODAL Dye Buffer Liquid Seal with Nickel Acetate Only. Note: the Frame Assy., 615-001, will require cleaning of welds. Suggested process is an alcohol wipe and a chemical etch prior to anodize. PRODUTION AND QUALITY ASSURANCE: Completion of each batch (task order) shall be completed within two weeks of the planned timeline. Anodizing shall meet above referenced MIL Specification. Inspection of completed items shall cover constant coverage and protective packaging before picking up all parts from the prospective contractor. TERM OF CONTRACT: It is intended that the resulting contract shall be a five year contract; a base year and the option to extend the terms four additional years at the Government's discretion. The volumes are designated as minimum and maximum per year with designated years requiring multiple deliveries (as indicated). Quote the various ‘release quantities' indicated. VENDOR QUALIFICATIONS: The chosen Vendor shall be ISO certified and Nadcap associated certification in place. Physical delivery and pick up by the Government is anticipated on all shipments. Therefore, the requirement is to have the successful vendor within a 50 mile radius of Tooele Army Depot, Tooele, UT 84074.
