SOURCES SOUGHT RFI 36C24819Q0114 SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR HOME OXYGEN DELIVERY PROGRAM. THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTATION OR AN ANNOUNCEMENT OF A SOLICITATION. This sources sought is a request for information and is for the purpose of conducting market research to provide data for planning purposes. This sources sought announcement does not constitute a formal solicitation and is not a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, does not obligate the government to award a contract, issue a solicitation, reimburse respondents for any proposal preparation and/or submittal costs, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this announcement and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The Orlando VA NCO 8 Contracting Office in Orlando, FL is searching for capable suppliers to provide Home Oxygen Services to include all supplies, materials, equipment, labor supervision management, transportation, safety management, infection control, repairs, maintenance and in-service training for patients to include patient education. All services will be performed in the veteran s place of residence which may be anywhere in the 6 local counties in the Orlando Corporate area Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Lake, Polk and Volusia Counties. Firm must be Joint Commission or equivalent accredited. Interested Firms should provide information on the following: Do you have the capability to provide full delivery coverage to the following 6 Counties: Orange, Osceola, Brevard, Lake, Polk and Volusia? Do you have a local facility to the Orlando VAMC? How quickly can you provide oxygen and oxygen supplies to a patient from the time an order is received by your company? What oxygen products and accessories can your company provide? What safety precautions do you follow with regard to Patient Safety and preventative devices? Interested firms are invited to submit a Statement of Capability (SOC) showing the company's ability to fulfill the requirement described above along with a free rough cost estimate. It is the responsibility of the potential offerors to monitor these sites for additional information pertaining to this requirement. This is not a solicitation nor will a solicitation package be issued as a result of this announcement, and no award shall be made as a result of this announcement. In the event that a solicitation is developed, it will be assigned a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) number or Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the announcement may be published on FEDBIZOPPS. Responses to this announcement will assist the government in identifying potential sources and determining if a set-aside of the solicitation is appropriate.
