Description
In accordance with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS) 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA ™s decision to contract with a selected source via single source procedures. The FAA William J. Hughes Technical intends to award a single source, time and materials (T&M) type contract to CSSI, Incorporated to provide services and support that are safety critical for the use of Reduced Vertical Separation Minima (RVSM) airspace in the NAS and to provide services and support for global separation standards analysis. The period of performance will be for 5 years. This single source is based on CSSI ™s ability to perform RVSM Regional Monitoring Agency (RMA) duties, such as height monitoring of all aircraft in RVSM airspace and analyses of height deviations that could indicate trends that impact safety of the National Airspace System (NAS) and international airspace. CSSI is uniquely qualified to provide RVSM and safety related directed separation analysis support. CSSI ™s experience negates any delays or degradation of the performance of the North American Approval Registry and Monitoring Organization (NAARMO) and the Pacific Approvals Registry and Monitoring Organization (PARMO) that could impact safety analyses for the NAS, Canada, Mexico, and the Pacific region. CSSI ™s experience ensure continuous support for FAA organization and ICAO safety programs and initiatives. A full and open competition is not available for this requirement. All responses to this announcement must be directed to AnneMarie Ternay via email to annemarie.ternay@faa.gov no later than 1/3/2019 by 4 p.m. EST.
