Page 1 of 1 INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs Networking Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to negotiate a sole source commercial service procurement with Tar Heel Communications Inc. located at 240 FOXWOOD LN SALISBURY, NC, 28147, to replace splice cases and resplice telecommunication cables at Salisbury VAMC. The period of performance for this procurement is December 28, 2018 January 31, 2019. This proposed contract action is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR Part 6.302. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested parties may identify their interest by sending capability statements in reference to this requirement no later than 12:00 p.m., Friday, December 28, 2018, to: takira.peoples@va.gov. Telephone inquiries shall not be accepted. All information shall be furnished at no cost of obligation to the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (26-DEC-2018); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
