- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This notice does NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, or invitation for bid. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. We are seeking information for market research purposes only. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. The VHA Network Contracting Office 6 (NCO 6) is conducting a market survey to find qualified vendors to perform all operations necessary for the approximate 8414 SF expansion of the Emergency Department and renovation of approximate 7800 SF existing space including but not limited to the general construction, civil, architectural, structural, interiors, mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, alterations, roads, walks, drainage, grading, necessary for removal of existing structures and construction of the building expansion. Contractor shall verify all existing conditions prior to bid. There is an anticipated Site Visit in February 2019. Location of work is: W.G. Hefner VAMC 1601 Brenner Avenue Salisbury, NC 28144 Work to be performed in strict accordance with specification and/or drawings. The proposed NAICS 236220 is applicable to this acquisition; with a size standard of $36.5 Million. All interested parties should respond, in writing via email to craig.powell@va.gov. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. However, if responses from qualified firms prove inadequate, an alternate set-aside or full and open competition may be considered. Your response is required by 3:00 PM EST on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.
