Description

This is a requirement for a full body translucent phantom be used by hospital personnel. The full body translucent phantom will be used within the Radiology Department as an X-ray and CT training tool for both students and permanent party members. The full bodied phantom is intended to be used as a supplemental training tool to familiarize x-ray techs by using the full patient body replica that is suited to provide a variety of educational applications as well as visual evaluation due to having anatomically correct organs in place. This aids in acquiring optimal scanning conditions within CT as the phantom provides appropriate unit measurements. � The brand name or equal to requirement for one (1) Computed Tomography Full Body Translucent Phantom (PBU-60) for the 10th Medical Group, USAF Academy, CO.�� - A full body translucent phantom that is able to be used in a CT and x-ray machine environment. - Internal organs of the head and trunk to include the brain and ventricles, lungs with pulmonary vessels, liver and its portal and hepatic veins, pancreas, spleen, gallbladder, aorta, cava, ureters, urinary bladder, prostate rectum, and sigmoid colon. - Includes FOB shipping to US Air Force Academy, 80840, Colorado.
