- Sources Sought Notice - Magnacide H (Acrolein, stabilized) The Bureau of Indian Affairs, Northwest Regional Office, seeks interested qualified vendors authorized to distribute Magnacide H aquatic herbicide for canal/ irrigation applications (with active ingredient, Acrolein, stabilized) in 2,450-lb. sized skids. The delivery location is Wapato, Washington. Interested parties are asked to respond to this notice with the following information: 1. evidence of authorization from the manufacturer (Baker Hughes, a division of Baker Petrolite) to distribute Magnacide H (Acrolein) in 2,450-lb. sized skids 2. evidence of interested party's qualification (license) to distribute Magnacide H in Washington State 3. evidence that the interested party can submit the applicable Material Safety Data Sheets as required by FAR clause 52.223-3, Hazardous Material Identification and Material Safety Data 4. Company DUNS and Bradstreet# 5. Small business size representation under NAICS 325320, Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing, size standard 1,000 6. Socioeconomic representation Small businesses and in particular, Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises are encouraged to respond to this notice. The applicable small business size standard for this requirement is NAICS 325320, Pesticide and Other Agricultural Chemical Manufacturing, 1,000 employees. A 2,450-lb. sized skid is required for ease and efficiency of application. No other sized skid is acceptable. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a response to this request with the above information attached no later than January 6, 2020 at 3 pm ET. Submit your information via email to: Anita.MacAuley@bia.gov with the subject line ""Magnacide H Wapato Irrigation 0040467781"" in the subject line of the email. The Government will consider all responses received and submitted by the due date. A determination by the Government not to complete this acquisition based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The below is a summary of the requirement. line 00010 qty. of fourteen (14) skids (2,450 lbs. per skid), Magnacide H aquatic herbicide for irrigation application $______unit price per each 2,450-lb. skid (unit price proposed shall include hazmat fees and price for delivery to Wapato Irrigation Project, 43 S. Camas Ave, Wapato WA 98951) $______Total price Note: FAR 52.223-3, Hazardous Material Identification and Material Safety Data applies to this solicitation and any award issued from it. FAR 52.223-3 states, in part, ""d) The apparently successful offeror agrees to submit, for each item as required prior to award, a Material Safety Data Sheet, meeting the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1200(g) and the latest version of Federal Standard No. 313, for all hazardous material identified in paragraph (b) of this clause. Data shall be submitted in accordance with Federal Standard No. 313, whether or not the apparently successful offeror is the actual manufacturer of these items. Failure to submit the Material Safety Data Sheet prior to award may result in the apparently successful offeror being considered nonresponsible and ineligible for award.""
