Description
This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the VA. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8a Small Business and Small Business concerns that are interested and capable of supplying the item(s). Your responses to the sources sought will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. Department of Veterans Affairs, Veteran s Integrated Service Network (VISN) 21, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is seeking sources that can provide the brand name or equal requirement for 38 each Zebra TC70 Series Touch Computers with Brazos electronic citation solutions. The Contractor shall provide all software, licenses, materials, components, hardware and services along with technical manuals necessary to perform the requirements of the VISN 21 Multi Agency deployment of the electronic citation system. Several aspects of the software are crucial: 1)Ability to extend multiple different applications to each singular device. 2)Ability for Law Enforcement Personnel to easily and quickly enter data into the mobile device. 3)Ability for Law Enforcement Personnel to easily read, enter and manipulate data via a compact mobile device. 4)Ability to quickly dispose of devices in case of emergency without damaging and routinely replacing each hand-held device. All devices must interface with the Central Violations Bureau (CVB). Each device must operate on all current VISN 21 Health Care Systems and must be compatible with existing infrastructure at all facilities located throughout VISN21. Configuration of all licenses for each location is as follows: VA Palo Alto Health Care System 10 licenses; VA Northern California Health Care System 9 licenses; VA San Francisco Health Care System 8 licenses; VA Southern Nevada Health Care System 6 licenses; VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System 3 licenses; VA Central California Health Care System 2 licenses The NAICS code is 511210 and the corresponding size standard is $41.5 Million.
