Description

This Notice of Intent is provided to advise that the Government intends to solicit and negotiate a Sole Source, Firm-Fixed-Priced Purchase Order with only one source, L1 Enterprises Inc. The procurement is to renew the lease of linen distribution system.� �The equipment is currently at SFVA and it is currently in use. Pursuant to the Veterans Benefits Act of 2003 (15 U.S.C. 657f), this acquisition will be a sole source award to a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) through statutory authority 41 USC�3304(a)(5) and 38 U.S. Code� 8127(c) as implemented by FAR 6.302-5 Authorized or Required by Statute. � This contract action is for supplies for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii) and 41 USC �1901, only one will meet the Government�s needs.�� Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation will be made available.� Any responses received will only be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in lieu of sole source contract described in this notice, and such determination shall be made at the sole discretion of the Government. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the requirement. If no responses are received, the government will proceed with the Sole Source acquisition. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.� All responses should be emailed to Carol Lam at carol.lam@va.gov by January 17, 2020.� Receipt must be acknowledged on my desktop computer to be recognized as received.� Telephone requests or inquires will not be accepted.
