Description

Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific (JBLM-HCB), Lacey, WA, intends to issue a sole source award to Nova Biomedical in the estimated amount of $59,735.05 for additional StatStrip Glucometers, Single, Double, and Quad Docking Stations, Li Batteries and Service Warranties to meet the needs of inpatient and outpatient Point of Care in Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), JBLM, Tacoma, WA. This is a one-time buy and the delivery date is 30 days. These items are currently in daily use throughout Madigan and need to be compatible with the RALS interface. Additionally, it is the only glucometer on the market that measures and corrects for abnormal hematocrits, while having no clinically significant interferences. Prior to use, the physician shall make the determination that these products or other branded products will best meet the individual patients� medical needs/requirements. All products must be FDA approved. This notice is not a request for quote/proposal and no solicitation will be issued. Any firm that believes it can provide the stated supplies/equipment can provide supporting documents demonstrating their products capabilities and specifications. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
