- ***INDUSTRY DAY ANNOUNCMENT*** GENERAL INFORMATION DLA Aviation will host an Industry Day and Subcontractor Information session regarding the pending DLA solicitation SPE4A2-20-R-0009, a performance-based acquisition in support of the MH-60, anticipated for issue on or about 31 Jan 2020.� The acquisition is a sole source, subsumable Captains of Industry (COI) effort with the Original Equipment Manager (OEM), Lockheed Martin (CAGE 03640), and as such, Lockheed Martin will co-host the event. LOCATION DLA Aviation (Defense Supply Center Richmond) McKeever Auditorium, Bldg 33, I Bay 8000 Jefferson Davis Highway Richmond, Virginia 23297 DATES & TIMES 27 January 2020 0900-1200 � Briefing 1300-1630 � One-on-One Sessions*, as requested 28 January 2020 0900-1630 � One-on-One Sessions*, as requested *The one-on-one session confirmation to suppliers, provided in advance of Industry Day, will include the meeting location. The session will provide a general overview of the requirement, military customer objectives, concept of operations, acquisition strategy, anticipated small business subcontracting requirements/metrics, along with information from Lockheed Martin�s Supply Chain and Small Business Programs personnel regarding Lockheed�s supplier approval process, quality requirements and flow downs, and overall small business support programs and efforts.� The event will also reserve time for suppliers to participate in individual, one-on-one sessions with DLA and Lockheed.� These sessions are upon request and MUST be scheduled in advance of the Industry Day event. As reflected above, the afternoon of Day One and all of Day Two (as needed) will be reserved for one-on-one sessions.� The intent of these sessions is to discuss the requirement and ultimately, facilitate maximum exchange of information to become a qualified source/subcontractor for this effort or discuss how the business relationship may be expanded if already a Lockheed Martin qualified source of supply.� Business Development Overview presentations are not desired and will not be entertained.� These individual sessions will be limited to 30 minutes.� Session times will be randomly assigned and companies will be notified of their time slot via email prior to the Industry Day. This is a no fee event.� However, the Government will NOT reimburse participants for any expenses associated with their participation in this Industry Day.� Any information provided by interested parties is strictly voluntary and will be treated as proprietary, protecting each company�s interests.�� Questions relative to this Industry Day should be addressed to Program Manager, Mr. Tony Cotto at Anthony.Cotto.ctr@dla.mil or the Contract Specialist, Ms. Ingrid Smith at Ingrid.Smith@dla.mil.��� INDUSTRY DAY REGISTRATION Advanced registration is REQUIRED. Companies are REQUIRED to e-mail Mr. Cotto AND Ms. Smith, email addresses noted above, no later than 4:00 PM (EST) on 17 Jan 2020 with the following pre-registration information:� (1) Company Name, (2) Last, First, Middle Name, (3) DOB, (4) SSN, (5) Driver�s License (DL) Number, (6) DL State, (7) Gender, (8) Place of Birth, (9) Alien Registration Number (if applicable), and (10) Status (i.e., US Citizen). �This information is required in order to perform a background check prior to being authorized access to the installation.� If desired, suppliers should INCLUDE A REQUEST FOR A ONE-ON-ONE SESSION IN THEIR REGISTRATION EMAIL TO THE AFOREMENTIONED GOVERNMENT POCS. In the interest of keeping the meeting size manageable, Industry Day participation will be limited to no more than three (3) representatives per company. Hard copies of the presentation materials will not be provided at the Industry Day, but will be posted to beta.SAM.gov by close of business on 24 Jan 2020.� The presentation materials, Q&A that results during the Industry Day briefing/event, and a list of attendees will be posted via beta.SAM.gov following the event.
