- This is a Sources Sought Notice and is for informational purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP), QUOTATION, OR BID. This sources sought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the government. The U.S. Government will not pay for the provision of any information, nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Transatlantic Middle East District (TAM), is seeking information regarding the capability of potential contractors to perform rapid repairs to critical infrastructure and perform other minor construction work in the following countries: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Kuwait United Arab Emirates (UAE) Qatar Oman Other Middle East Country TBD USACE is primarily interested in firms with experience in providing a repairs to critical infrastructure for the following areas of work: Water Supply and Waste Water systems (Including Wells, Desalination facilities, WWTP ) Electrical Power Plants & Power Generation systems Electrical Power Transmission lines and associated systems Roads and Airfields (various substrate repairs i.e. concrete, asphalt etc.) Miscellaneous Buildings of various materials, i.e. concrete, brick, wood, metal Repair of Oil and Gas Pipeline systems Interested vendors shall submit the following: Business Name and Address. Include Email Addresses and Telephone numbers of the responsible Point of Contact. DUNS number, CAGE Code, JCCS Number if applicable. Capability Statement. Interested firms shall submit a capability statement limited to 10 pages in length. �Include a short Executive Summary of your company's prime area of business, capabilities, and qualifications. Capability statement should focus on answering the questions listed below: Is your company likely to compete as a Prime Contractor or as a Joint-Venture (JV) with another company? If your firm is a joint venture (JV), the JV entity must have a valid registration representing the JV as one business/firm/entity. This is applicable to the Beta.SAM.Gov website (Formerly www.SAM.GOV), and JCCS (Joint Contingency Contracting System (https://www.jccs.gov))� Is your company interested in performing work only as a Subcontractor? Has your company previously performed work for any Federal or DoD Agency which required mobilization within 72 hours of a Notice to Proceed (NTP) being issued by the Government? If yes, please describe the type of work and locations. Does your company have Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) approved forward pricing rate agreements? Does your company have a Defense Contract Accounting Agency (DCAA) approved accounting system? Has your company previously performed work involving infrastructure recovery or emergency management? If yes, please describe. �Has your company previously performed military construction? If yes, please describe. Over the past five years, approximately what percentage of your company's contracts have been Cost Reimbursable? Identify locations in which your company normally performs work and identify which of the countries listed previously in which your company would be likely to compete for work. Approximately how many employees does your company have? How many projects could your company execute simultaneously if the projects were not co-located? Is your company currently performing work for USACE or has it in the past? If yes, provide contract numbers or other identifiers and a description of the work performed. Please identify if the work was Cost Reimbursable and/or of a similar nature to that which is being sought. What is your company's current bonding capacity.
