- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation and request for quotes (RFQ) for commercial items in accordance with the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures, with FAR Part 12 taking precedence per FAR 13.500(b)�s reference to FAR 12.102(c).� The Federal Housing Finance Agency requires the services of a firm that can provide independent verification and validation (IV&V) services for the Agency's legal support contracts.� Although the primary focus of the requirement is for IV&V for legal services, FHFA may also request that the vendor review invoices submitted by expert consultants/witnesses and their associated support personnel�to the extent that it is within the vendor's capability.����� This requirement is set-aside for small business concerns under NAICS code 541219, Other Accounting Services with a size standard of $22M.
