THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT TO BE USED FOR MARKET ANALYSIS IN DETERMINING THE AVAILABILITY OF THE ATTACHED REQUIREMENT: PWS, Repair OMAX Waterjet System **NO AWARD WILL BE MADE FROM THIS SOURCES SOUGHT** **DO NOT SUBMIT A QUOTATION OR PROVIDE COST AND PRICING DATA** **NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME** ALL RESPONSES WILL BE USED TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE ACQUISITION STRATEGY FOR THE POSSIBLE FUTURE ACQUISITION. 1. The contractor shall troubleshoot and repair the OMAX Precision Abrasive Waterjet System, Model 55100, Serial Number B512292.� This work includes but is not limited to an evaluation and inspection of the lead screw on the z-axis of the system, and repair of system with on-site available parts, and/or ordering of additional parts for installation next business day while technician is still on-site.� The contractor to perform this evaluation, inspection, and repair is required to be OMAX Certified.� 2. Cost of evaluation and repair steps taken during initial visit are not to exceed (NTE) originally funded contract amount. Upon completion of system repair, or at the point the NTE amount has been reached (whichever comes first), the contractor will provide a final written quote for remaining repairs, maintenance, and parts required to bring machine up to 100% operational functionality.� The quote and all warranty documents for parts replaced and work performed will be provided to the 28th Maintenance Squadron, Metal Technology primary or alternate point of contact (POC) prior to technician departure. All interested parties are invited to provide the following information about your company/institution. 1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, email address, website, and CAGE Code. 2. Company's business size and/or socioeconomic status (i.e. Small Business, SBA Certified 8A Program Participant, SBA Certified HUB Zone Firm, Small Disadvantaged Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Business, Woman-Owned Small Business). 3. A positive statement of your intention to bid on this contract as a prime contractor. **Responses are due NOT LATER THAN 3:00 PM MST, WEDNESDAY, 22 JANUARY 2020, and shall only be submitted electronically to the following email address: laurie.lykken.1@us.af.mil Primary Government Point of Contact: Laurie Lykken Questions relevant to this notice shall be sent electronically to the above email address. RESPONSE IS STRICTLY VOLUNTARY; NO REIMBURSEMENT WILL BE MADE FOR ANY COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH PROVIDING INFORMATION IN REPSONSE TO THIS NOTICE OR ANY FOLLOW-UP INFORMATION REQUESTS.
