Description
Defense Logistics Agency intends to obtain Intelligent Power Technology (IPT) (digital) Generator Set, Diesel Engine (Genset) that is mounted on the Trailer Mounted Support System (TMSS) trailer and provides power to the rest of the TMSS systems. DLA requires three phase Gensets rated for 18 kw and for 33 kw with an IPT (also known as a digital) feature that enables connectivity between generators to allow for efficient power production (also known as smart grid technology). The TMSS system is part of the Standardized Integrated Command Post System (SICPS) suite of systems. The 18 kw Genset will bolt onto the HDT, Inc. HP2C (TMSS Medium) trailer with no modifications, and the 33 kw Genset will bolt onto the HDT, Inc. HP-8 (TMSS Large) trailer with no modifications. Additional technical specifications can be provided upon request. For past procurements, this item was supplied by HDT Expeditionary Systems, Inc. This survey is published in compliance with FAR Part 10, (Market Research). The purpose of this survey is to canvass the industry for any possible sources for the Gensets identified below.
