- Solicitation #: 47PE0220R0014 Project: USDA-NRCS RENOVATE OFFICE INTERIOR Location: 355 East Hancock Avenue, Athens, GA 30601 Contractor shall perform selective modifications, patching and repairs, as needed, to renovate the office interior including partition walls, carpet, acoustic ceiling, light fixtures and paint. Work must meet all applicable codes, building standards, manufacturers requirements, and standards of workmanship. The contractor is expected to be sufficiently knowledgeable is this type renovations to complete the scope of work in a manner that will result in the intended functional product in accordance with the Statement of Work dated 11/5/2019. Construction Cost Range: $100,000 and $250,000 Basis of Award: The Government contemplates award of a Firm-Fixed-Price contract resulting from this solicitation. It is the contractor responsibility to visit the site and to include all work necessary to complete this job within allotted time frame. The Contractor shall perform all renovations during normal building operating hours of 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. (Except federal holidays); work that involves loud noise, percussive impact, hazard chemicals shall be performed after-hours or on the weekend. Examples of work that may be required to be performed outside normal building operating hours includes hammer/core drilling of masonry, painting, staining, and use of solvent or adhesives. The Contractor shall identify, schedule, and coordinate in advance all after-hours or weekend work, and any other requested deviations from normal work hours with the GSA Property Manager. Background Investigations will be conducted for all contractors working on this project. If the project is less than six (6) months, a short-term investigation will be conducted for each applicant. This background investigation will be valid for the duration of the project. If the project is greater than six (6) months, a long-term investigation (NACI) will be conducted for each applicant. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The period of performance for this requirement is 90 days. Basis of Award: Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) Applicable Davis Bacon General Decision Number: GA20190136 01/03/2020 Superseded General Decision Number: GA20180148 State: Georgia Construction Type: Building County: Hall County in Georgia Bid Bond/Performance/Payment Bond: Successful Offeror will be required to submit a Bid Bond/Performance/Payment Bond. Liquidated Damages: In accordance with the Liquidated Damages clause Section III (Terms and Conditions) Liquidated Damages shall be calculated at a rate of $302.38 per calendar day. Certificate of Insurance: Successful Offeror will be required to submit a Certificate of Insurance in accordance with FAR Clause 52.228.5 within 10 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP).
