Description
This Sources Sought Announcemnt (SSA) shall NOT be construed as an Invitation for Bid or Request for Proposal (RFP) or as an obligation on the part of the U.S Government (USG) to acquire any products or services. It is for planning purposes only. Responses to this SSA will be treated as information only and may be used by the U.S Army in developing its acquisition strategy, Performance Work Statement, etc. if a firm requirement is identified. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges to the USG shall arise as a result of a Contractor or Source submission of information with responses to this SSA or the USG use of such information. NO funds have been authorized, appropriated, or received for award of a contract at this time. USG CANNOT guarantee specific requirement for production of LRUs. However, minimum projection is currently estimated at a total quantity of 5 units for production. It is highly encouraged that interested sources fully capable of satisfying potential supply for these items identify and submit their best economic range quantity to achieve manufacture cost savings as part of responses to this announcement for consideration. Detailed data for repair and/or manufacturing, inspections and test procedures and other documentation pertaining to the existing design WILL NOT be supplied by the Army as they are not available. The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire Circuit Card Assembly NSN: 5998-01-581-5246 (IPTX530BC) to support the Joint Network Node (JNN), Warfighter Information Network-Tactical Increment 1 (WIN-T INC 1). Requirements Description: The Circuit Card Assembly is an essential element to the JNN as it is a component of the NX1000 Promina Multiplexer which provides the JNN with access to a Promina Network. The Government does not possess the technical data package (TDP) for the parts. The TDP is owned by the sole source manufactuer. � The following additional NAICS apply: N/A Name: Circuit Card Assembly NSN:�5998-01-581-5246 P/N:�IPTX530BC Requested Response Information: Sources that can manufacture or supply the listed part are requested to submit information to show capability to manufacture or supply the same part.
