- The purpose of this Amendment is to announce another Streamlined Machine Learning Developers Day, to be held on 30-31 OCT 2019. Additional details can be found below: Event: Streamlined Machine Learning Developer Workshop Audience: US Government, DoD Contractors When: 30-31 October 2019 Location: BRICC, 4100 North Fairfax Drive, Suite 450, Arlington, VA 22203 Summary: The StreamlinedML team would like to invite members of the DoD ML community who are machine learning developers, practitioners, and researchers to attend a developer workshop for the Streamlined Machine Learning (StreamlinedML) framework and ecosystem. The purpose of this event is to introduce government developers, industry partners, and ML practitioners to StreamlinedML machine learning framework and ecosystem. This two day workshop will include an introduction and hands on development and deployment of ML models to the StreamlinedML ecosystem using the Model Integration Software Toolkit (MISTK). A laptop computer with installation privileges is a requirement for all participants. Required materials, including a prepared virtual machine image, will be distributed ahead of the workshop. The StreamlinedML framework and ecosystem are an open, government owned platform that enables the rapid, low-cost deployment of state-of-the-art ML capabilities to AF and DOD data and applications. The open platform enables new algorithms to be developed, integrated by industry and government, and made available to the larger DOD community. The StreamlinedML platform is focused on fostering an ecosystem to support the sharing, development, and evaluation of ML data, algorithms, and models across the Air Force and DOD community. It is a government-owned platform that is available for use by DOD government and industry partners. All briefs and discussions will be held at the unclassified level and technical documents and media will be labeled DoD Distribution C. Registration information can be found at this link. Due to the hands on nature of the workshop, participation will be limited and the registration page will be disabled once we reach our desired capacity.
