Description
THIS SYNOPSIS IS NOT A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE; DO NOT CONTACT THE CONTRACTING OFFICE TO PROVIDE CAPABILITIES STATEMENTS OR NOTICE OF INTEREST. ���������������������������������������������������������� Department of the Air Force, Air Combat Command, 355th Contracting Squadron, will solicit for a Firm Fixed Price Design/Build contract at Davis-Monthan (DM) Air Force Base (AFB), Tucson, Arizona (AZ). �The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction) with a small business size standard of $39,500,000.00. �The work to be performed consists of designing and constructing a prefabricated equipment storage facility.� The following descriptions are for general reference only, and shall not be construed as a complete list of all operations to be performed. The work includes: The Contractor shall perform all design and construction services for project, to Construct (75X184, approx. 13,800 SF, with at least 18 feet high) 306 RQS Equipment Storage Facility. The storage facility will be used for safe boat, forklift, or double stack ISU storage, plus fire safety of 3 feet. D/B will incorporate all lifecycle costs in construction to include; but not limited to, the following: prefabrication building, electrical, and fence as well as any necessary work associated to the construction and provide a facility in compliance with current standards. All work shall comply with the current Base Design Compatibility Guidelines (DCG), and supervision necessary to complete the following project at DMAFB, AZ in accordance with (IAW) the project specifications: FBNV 20-0001 Construct 306 RQS Equipment Storage Facility IAW FAR 36.204; the project magnitude is between $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. THIS PROCUREMENT WILL BE A TOTAL SERVICE DISABLED VETERN OWNED SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. For this contract, a contractor shall receive an award based on Sections L & M in the solicitation and upon determination by the Contracting Officer that the prospective contractor is responsible IAW FAR 9.1.� Evaluation factors will be set forth in Sections L & M of the solicitation.� An initial Pre-Performance conference will be held at DMAFB, Tucson, AZ.� ������ The estimated performance period for this project is not to exceed 180 calendar days. �Interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business firms will be required to show evidence of bonding capability to the maximum magnitude of the project as outlined in the solicitation. The solicitation is expected to be issued on or around 6 Feb 2020. �The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained in the solicitation package. �The entire solicitation will be available in electronic format, at no cost, from the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at www.fbo.gov.; no paper copies will be issued.� Potential offers are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package.� To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered and marked active in the System for Award Management (SAM).� Register via the SAM Web site at www.sam.gov.� All responsible contractors may submit a proposal that shall be considered by this Agency.
